MEET MOCA ROSE & HUGO, OUR INSPIRATIONS

Our products grew from our love for our pets. Our first dog, Moca Rose was an English Bulldog, and she was first love. She lived until she was 10 years old. In that time she had two joint surgeries and ultimately contracted bone cancer. Even today, 6 years later, she is still always in our thoughts. As we went through all the ups and downs of joint surgery and treatments for bone cancer we were constantly looking for something to help her during the healing process. We weren’t satisfied with what was available. There were dog vitamins that she wouldn’t even look at (she was a discerning eater), and there were very few supplements that harnessed natural remedies.  We were adamant about finding a natural way to help ease her pain, and there weren’t any great alternatives in the pet market yet. Combining the right dosage with the right flavors is an art form, especially for picky dogs! Our obsessive search for natural ingredients that could help Moca led us to realize that there is an enormous variety of wonderful natural ingredients that could help other picky, and adored, pets.

Hugo is our newest furry family member. We adopted him as a puppy from a rescue shelter, and he is the kindest gentlest soul you will ever know. At a very squat 60 lbs he is starting to show his age when running and when he exerts himself for short periods of time. We wanted to protect his legs and joints for as long as possible, giving him the best nourishment and supplements. That’s why we created PAWISH - to help Hugo and all pets live their best, most active lives for as long as possible.
